Emilee is the Head Librarian at Paradigm High School. She has a degree in elementary education from Utah State and an endorsement in Library Science and Technology. She has taught in the education system for 10 years, 8 being a teacher and 2 being a librarian. Being a librarian is her dream job. She grew up in a literature rich environment and found herself taking piles of books to bed with her every night. She has a passion for children's literature especially picture books. Her husband just built her a library in their new house. She now has her books all housed in one place, it's a librarians dream. She thoroughly enjoys working with your students and find joy in helping them become educated in information literacy. She takes her job very seriously especially when it comes to helping the students find reliable sources with all the multitudes of information out there. A librarian is also a teacher, a teacher who teaches a love of reading and ways to become educated consumers of information. Here at Paradigm we strive to empower students to become all they can be.

**To read is to empower

To empower is to write

To write is to influence

To Influence is to change

To change is to live.
